Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of grossular garnet from Vermont!!! This specimen hosts numerous complex crystals of deep, orange-red grossular garnet in association with colorless diopside crystals!!! The grossular crystals have glassy luster and clarity ranging from near opaque to gemmy!!! There are numerous crystals that exhibit unusually complex forms as well as some curious etching!!! There are even crystals that have an unusual skeletal appearance!!! This specimen is way better than the pics show!!! Lively and showy in person!!!
