Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent, old time example of guanajuatite from the type locale in Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown crystals of guanajuatite in association with a small amount of whitish matrix!!! The crystals are exceptionally fine for this rare bismuth sulfo-selenide!!! This is OLD material (this specimen was one of two specimens that originally came in an old A.E. Foote labelled vial)!!! Simply an amazing example of this very rare species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
