A superb example of this rare and colorful uranium-bearing assemblage from New Hampshire!!! Gummite is the term given for a variable
assortment of boltwoodite, clarkeite, curite, kasolite, soddyite, uraninite, and uranophane!!! This specimen consists of a very rich
assemblage of gummite with bright, intense colors ranging from lemon yellow to deep pumpkin orange accented by jet-black uraninite, and
pearlecent muscovite!!! In addition to the gummite, there is a large etched crystal of gray-green apatite and numerous sharp and well-formed crystals of cyrtolite zircon!!!
This is simply a magnificent example of classic Ruggles material from one of its foremost field collectors!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
