A superb example of this rare and colorful uranium-bearing assemblage from New Hampshire!!!
Gummite is the term given for a variable assortment of boltwoodite, clarkeite, curite,
kasolite, soddyite, uraninite, and uranophane!!! This specimen consists of a very rich
assemblage of gummite with bright, intense yellow colors and
accented by jet-black uraninite!!! In addition to the gummite, there are a few
sharp and well-formed crystals of cyrtolite zircon as well as books of muscovite mica!!! This specimen is from the Ruggles Mine material we
obtained in the Peppis collection (you can see a brief
bio here)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
