Description/Interesting Notes: A rich, old time example of gummite from New Hampshire!!! This specimen consists of a dense, solid mass of colorful gummite with uraninite and cyrtolite zircon!!! Gummite is a combination of several uranium bearing species such as boltwoodite, clarkeite, curite, kasolite, soddyite, uraninite, and uranophane!!! The gummite shows rich, intense hues of bright yellows and vivid oranges in aesthetic combination with dark brown cyrtolite zircon and jet-black uraninite!!! The uraninite is present as scattered black grains throughout the specimen and the cyrtolite zircon is quite well crytallized in areas!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
