Description/Interesting Notes: A stunning example of hackmanite from the Koksha Valley!!! This specimen hosts several crystals of purple hackmanite in a matrix of crystalline richterite!!! The hackmanite crystals are sharp, complex, glassy, and have marked translucence!!! The crystals have terrific purple color and exhibit intense orange fluorescence in UV!!! This specimen is intensely tenebrescent, and after exposure to UV light the crystal retains an INTENSE deep grape purple color that gradually returns to the lighter purple over time - a truly fascinating property only seen in a handful of mineral species!!!
