These historic hauerite specimens date to the late 19th century and represent some of the finest examples of the species known!!! This specimen consists of a complete and undamaged single crystal of hauerite!!! This crystal exhibits characteristic octahedral form, however it has attractive, sharply modified corners!!! This specimen has impressive size and outstanding quality for this historic locality!!! This gorgeous old time rarity retains an old label from the James Underhill collection as well as another old unattributed label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
