Description/Interesting Notes: A large, world class example of hauerite from Italy!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, complete crystal of hauerite!!! The crystal exhibits sharp octahedral form with tiny cubo-octahedral modifications on some corners!!! The crystals is undamaged and has a handsome velveteen luster in person!!! These specimens date to the mid 1800's and are very scarce and highly sought after today!!! The pics hardly do this specimen justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
