Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent pair of rare, old time hauerite crystals from Italy!!! This is a pair of choice crystals of hauerite - one exhibiting a classic octahedral habit and the other exhibiting a rarer cubo-octahedral habit!!! Both crystals are undamaged and complete all around with sharp faces and a unique, almost satin sheen-like luster!!! These specimens are from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum collection and retain an old label along with their original antique corked glass vial with catalogue number!!! These old time hauerite specimens are highly sought after and this is a magnificent example with fantastic provenance as well!!! The pics hardly do this pair of classic rarities justice!!!
