Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent pair of rare, old time hauerite crystals from Italy!!! This is a pair of choice crystals of hauerite - one exhibiting a classic octahedral habit and the other exhibiting a rarer cubo-octahedral habit!!! Both crystals are undamaged and complete all around with sharp faces and marked luster!!! Although they do not retain a label, these specimens were part of a group of specimens we recently acquired from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum collection!!! These old time hauerite specimens are highly sought after and this is a magnificent example indeed!!! The pics hardly do this pair of classic rarities justice!!
