A very old example of "hauynophire" from Melfi!!! Hauynophire is essentially a combination of hauyne,
melilite, leucite and nepheline!!! The dark, almost black colored crystals are understood to be hauyne crystals!!!
The pics simply do not capture just how interesting this specimen is!!! This unique specimen retains an old label from the Schuchardt collection and dates
to the 1860's!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
