Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare gem species from this classic German locale!!! This specimen hosts an impressive single crystal of hauyne prominently perched on darkly colored matrix!!! The crystal consists of a complex, compound crystal that measures an impressive 1cm!!! Crystalline examples of hauyne are rare and large crystals are exponentially more so!!! The crystal has an unusual cornflower blue color and marked translucence!!! The specimen is quite striking in person!!! This specimen retains an old Seaman Museum label with L.L. Hubbard notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
