Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of hauyne from Italy!!! This specimen hosts a group of large, complex crystals of hauyne on matrix!!! The crystals are absolutely huge for the species!!! This specimen hosts a prominent cluster of large, intergrown crystals with individual crystals measuring to an incredible 2cm!!! The crystals show glassy, well defined faces with a compbination of rounded and angular features!!! There are significant areas of partially etched crystals as well!!! The crystals have a grayish-whitish color with marked translucence!!! Simply a fantastic example of the species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
