Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of this rare species from Germany!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of yellow tetrahedral crystals of helvite in association with some thin whitish crystals of an unidentified species!!! The crystals are very well formed with sharp faces, marked luster, and lively yellow color!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition and range in size to over 3mm!!! This specimen retains several old labels including an old c.1900 label from the Freiberg Mining Academy that was handwritten by Wilhelm Maucher (Maucherite) as well as an old label from Ward's and the collection of Percy A. Foster!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
