Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare and unusual example of helvite included quartz from China!!! This specimen consists of a doubly terminated
floater crystal of quartz in association with pearly white dolomite crystals and blocky fluorite crystals
that hosts a rare and incredible phantom of bright yellow helvite tetrahedrons included within!!! The entire
specimen is a complete floater with no point of attachment!!! The quartz crystal is sharp, glassy, and gemmy!!! The large,
prominent termination hosts a well defined phantom comprised of scattered bright yellow helvite crystals as well as
included crystals of white dolomite and some other unidentified crystals as well!!! This is a VERY rare occurence and
I have only seen one other example (published as a close up photo in the Mineralogical Record)!!! The
helvite crystals are sharp and have intense yellow color!!! The dolomite crystals consist
of saddle-shaped rhombs that have slightly pearlescent luster!!! The fluorite crystals are
almost colorless cubes with complex, finely-stepped corners and gemmy clarity!!! This specimen is in
magnificent condition and displays fantastically in person!!! Don't miss out on this
rare and most unusual included quartz specimen!!!
