Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent, old time example of hematite from the Urals!!! These incredible Shabry Village specimens are truly remarkabel examples of the species!!! This
specimen consists of a very thick single crystal that has sharp, complex faces!!! The crystal is so thick that it almost looks like a complex
dodecahedron from certain angles!!! It is almost as thick as it is wide!!! The crystal has bright metallic luster and is quite brilliant in person!!! The
faces exhibit highly complex patterns and forms due to the fact that it formed in a talc matrix (some of which is still in association)!!! Although
it is difficult to discern in the pictures - this specimen is actually complete all around!!! The complex modifcations and irregular surfaces are actually crystalline and have
bright, organized lustrous faces in person!!! This is a killer old time Urals beauty indeed!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be
seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
