A gorgeous, 19th century example of botryoidal hematite from this historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a showy
cluster of botryoidal hematite crystals with attractive reddish hue and areas of high luster!!! The
specimen consists of two large botryoids that are covered with smaller botryoidal forms!!! This specimen is thick and solid!!!
This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains old labels from Michigan College of Mines and an old
Ward's label that dates to between 1875-1891!!! This specimen also retains its old, original, antique glass-lined
specimen box as well!!! This specimen is simply gorgeous in person!!! Classic old time material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
