Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of hematite from this seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen consists of a complexly modified, doubly terminated, scalenohedral crystal of hematite!!! The crystal has metallic luster and aesthetic iridescenct highlights!!! These unusual specimens came from a single small find that had been collected and smuggled out by a single individual years ago!!! Shortly after this find the specimens were dispersed and have scarcely been seen since!!! The locality is tightly controlled and it is unlikely that more will ever be found!!!
