Hematite with Ankerite & Quartz Sterling mine, Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York 13cm x 8cm x 3.85cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of hematite from New York!!! This specimen hosts a broad face that is loaded with brilliantly sparkling blades of hematite in association with razor-sharp quartz crystals and complex butterscotch colored crystals of ankerite!!! The hematite crystals are present as fine, distinct, very well formed blades!!! Many of the quartz crystals are so clear that they do not show up in the photos!!! This is a fantastic Sterling Mine old timer indeed!!! The bottom has been sawed to optimize display as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
