Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this rare silver telluride from California!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts numerous veins and
masses of hessite, as well as rare crystalline hessite!!! There is a significant area of crystalline hessite prominently positioned
on the matrix!!! The hessite has a silvery metallic luster and there appears to be a possible superficial coating of native gold on the large
crystal of hessite!!! There is another area of crystalline hessite present that has noticeable blue and red iridescence as well!!!
Upon close inspection there appears to be another unidentified species in association, present as tiny blackish metallic crystals poking through a small
chalky area of matrix!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
