Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of hessite from California!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of gun-metal gray hessite on a stark white quartz matrix!!! The hessite is present as an impressive, slightly iridescent crystal of hessite that measures nearly 4mm!!! In addition to this crystal, there are also some other tiny crystalline portions present as well (visible upon close inspection) as well as a dense network of dark gray veins richly distributed throughout the quartz matrix!!!
