Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of hessite with sylvanite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of darkly colored
hessite in association with numerous included crystals of sylvanite!!! The hessite is present as rich, significant
masses while the sylvanite is present as thin, elongated crystals included within the matrix!!! In addition to the
large, prominent mass of hessite there are numerous small masses and grains richly scattered throughout the matrix!!!
On one side of the specimen
one can see a partially exposed sylvanite crystal with brilliant silver luster!!! This is a fantastic example of this
rare telluride from this classic old time locality!!! Rare material!!!
