Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of hessonite garnet from this famed locale!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of darkly colored clinochlore crystals and thin, intergrown sections of hessonite garnet that host a trio of sharp, gemmy, peach colored hessonite garnet crystals!!! Surrounding the gemmy hessonite crystals are groups of perfectly flat sheets of hessonite garnet crystals!!! These are not damaged crystals but, rather highly compressed crystals!!!
