Description/Interesting Notes: A superb example of hessonite garnet from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a complex single crystal of hessonite garnet with a few smaller conjoined crystals in association!!! The crystal is absolutely pristine with glassy, razor-sharp faces and gem clarity!!! The crystal has a gorgeous peach-orange color that shows dynamic play of light and fire in person!!! The bottom of the crystal hosts a network of tiny hessonite crystals and a small amount of pectolite!!! The crystal is complete, undamaged, and displays magnificently all the way around!!!
