Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of this rare and colorful tremolite varietal from New York!!! This specimen consists of a particularly gemmy and intensely colored cluster of intergrown tremolite var. hexagonite crystals!!! This specimen hosts lustrous, gemmy crystals up to 2cm!!! There is one large, thick, prominent crystal that has facet-grade gem clarity throughout!!! A very impressive example of hexagonite indeed!!! The specimen has showy clarity, gorgeous deep magenta pinkish-purple color and is quite dynamic in person!!! Incredible old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
