Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of hexagonite from New York!!! This specimen consists of a complex single crystal of hexagonite!!! This crystal has surprising gemminess for this unique tremolite varietal, in addition to exceptional reddish purple color as well!!! The crystal is complete all around, however the terminations consists of complex groups of contacts - as is typical these crystals form in dense groups of intergrown crystals, so individual crystals are unusual in and of themselves!!! This sepcimen has sharp, lustrous faces and has intense color and lively clarity!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Simply a fantastic example of hexagonite from New York!!!
