Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of hodgkinsonite from Franklin!!! While massive hodgkinsonite is, in itself, somewhat rare - crystallized examples of hodgkinsonite are quite rare and highly sought after!!! This specimen hosts a significant showing of rare crystalline hodgkinsonite on a matrix of massive hodgkinsonite and intergrown willemite!!! The hodgkinsonite crystals have sharp, lustrous faces, marked translucence, and light pinkish purple color!!! Under SW UV, one can see that there is a significant amount of fluorescent yellow-green willemite intermixed throughout the entire matrix!!!
