A rare example of hornblende from New York City!!! This specimen consists of a dense mass of complex hornblende crystals!!! The crystals range in size up to approximately 5mm and are complexly etched, lustrous, and have a dark olive greenish to brown color!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
