Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of very rare native indium from the type locality in Russia!!! Indium itself is extremely rare in nature and only occurs in just a handful of mineral species - examples of actual native indium are extraordinarily scarce!!! This specimen consists of a siginficantly sized, complex grain of native indium in association with some unidentified soft, clay-like whitish material!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see the grayish silver metallic features an complex details!!! This is a magnificent example of this very rare native element!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
