Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent combination of rare silver halides from this famed locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous significant areas of
lightly colored iodargyrite in association with razor-sharp crystals of chlorargyrite and bromian chloragyrite that exhibit a surprising
range of hues and habits!!! The iodargrytie crystals are present as complex, crystalline groupings that have pale straw-yellow color and clarity that ranges
from translucent to gem in some small areas!!! The chlorargyrite and bromian chlorargyrite crystals are present both as tiny, highly lustrous, razor-sharp crystals
with surprising clarity that cover patches of matrix and scattered crystals that are larger in size and have yellow-green to tan color and translucent clarity!!! There are also
some fine crystals of acicular malachite present as well!!! Upon close examination, this specimen is stunningly well crystallized - in fact some of the crystals
are so well formed and have such clarity that I needed to remove a few and confirm them (they looked too good to be true!) There are also a few scattered crystals
that may possibly be other rare halides as well!!! This specimen retains an old label as well!!! Amazing in person!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 23rd!!!
