Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of iranite from the type locale!!! This specimen hosts a significant showing of highly complex amber-brown
colored crystals of iranite on matrix!!! The crystals are significantly sized for the species with glassy luster and marked clarity!!!
The crystals are present as highly complex forms, some of which are dramatically compressed while others are intricate compound crystals!!!
Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope the crystals are quite impressive!!! There are also a few, unidentified
deep orange crystals present as well!!! This specimen is from OLD material originally acquired from the Sorbonne Museum in France!!! Rare material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
