Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of native iron from Greenland!!! This specimen consists of a rich mass of native iron!!! Examples of true terrestrial native iron are quite scarce indeed!!! This specimen has been lightly buffed on one side to reveal just how rich and solid it is - as many examples of "native iron" can simply be splintery masses of iron oxide!!!
