A superb example of very rare, native iron from the type locality in Greenland!!! Native iron is extremely rare and this is an exceptional example
of this rare species!!! This specimen consists of a large, solid mass of native iron!!! The specimen is very sturdy, stable, and hefty - weighing 96g!!!
This specimen retains an old A.E. Seaman Mineralogical Museum label as well!!! The label indicates that there is also minor nickel, cobalt, and carbon in association - which is
typical of the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
