Jadeite China 4.5cm x 2.6cm x .25cm circa 1863 Ex. Emile Bertrand

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, OLD time example of jadeite jade from China!!! This specimen consists of a brilliantly polished slice of highly translucent, lively white jadeite jade!!! The jade has white color with perhaps a slight hint of pink!!! The jade has remarkable translucence and, upon close examination, one can even see crystalline orientations within the jade!!! This specimen retains two old labels, one unattributed label with a date of 1863 and an Emile Bertrand label that is dated 1877!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
