Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of jalpaite from New Mexico!!! This specimen hosts a rich distribution of jalpaite in a quartz matrix!!! The jalpaite is present as a dense network of darkly colored submillimeter grains included within the quartz matrix!!! This specimen retains an old label from the collection of Joe Cilen and an old label from Sid Williams as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
