Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of rare jalpaite and native silver from the type locality in Mexico!!! This rare, old time specimen hosts
a rich showing of dark gray jalpaite in minor association with native silver and chrysocholla!!! In addition
to large masses of jalpaite, this specimen actually hosts numerous complex CRYSTALS of jalpaite!!! Upon close examination, one
can see that some of the jalpaite crystals still embedded in the chrysocholla actually have a paper-thin layer of native silver
that encapsulates them around the perimeter!!! This is a fantastic,
old time rarity indeed!!! Fine examples of jalpaite such as this are nearly impossible to obtain on todays market!!! The pics
hardly do it justice!!!
