Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible example of native silver with jalpaite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a VERY rich example of dense, heavy native silver in association with massive jalpaite and some minor chrysocolla!!! The native silver has a bright, tin white metallic hue and can be seen all throughout the specimen with several prominent ridges jutting out!!! The exposed native silver is very solid and dense!!! The jalpaite is present as massive, darkly colored material and networks of darkly colored grains, some of which appear to have some alteration (perhaps the jalpaite decomposition is what resulted in the presence of such rich native silver!)!!! I have only ever seen thin, relatively minor native silver specimens from this occurence - this is an extraordinary specimen indeed!!! These specimens date to the 19th century and are quite scarce in any quality!!! Don't miss out on this exceptional specimen!!!
