Description/Interesting Notes:
An outstanding example of jamesonite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown
crystals of jamesonite!!! Usually jamesonite is encountere as acicular, almost hair-like crystals - rarely
do you see crystals of such size and significance!!! This specimen hosts numerous thick, brilliantly metallic
crystals to over 2.5cm!!! This specimen is almost entirely comprised of jamesonite!!! This specimen is from the
collection of Thomas J. Campbell, Co-author of "The Encyclopedia of Minerals"!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MAY 24th!!!
