Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of the very rare species johachidolite from Burma!!! This specimen hosts a large and, for the species, very well crystallized example of bright orange johachidolite in a matrix of the MOST intense purple hackmanite I have ever seen!!! There is also a wonderful muscovite crystal in association, as well as a colorless crystal of unknown identity!!! There are some smaller johachidolite crystals as well, one of which appears to be complete and undamaged!!! The hackmanite is intensely fluorescent and, even more dramatically, incredibly tenebrescent!!! The color combination of bright orange and intense violet is second to none!!! This specimen was the best example that I could find in all of Tucson last year (and there were only a handful of specimens too) and much lesser specimens were selling for prices into the four digits!!!
