Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of kermesite from Slovakia!!! This specimen host a rich showing of deep red sprays of kermesite crystals scattered about a stibnite-rich matrix!!! The deep red sprays of needle-like kermesite crystals are lustrous and showy!!! Upon close inspection one can see some tiny quartz points in association with the kermesite as well as few minute, darkly colored unidentified crystals!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that there is actually a significant amount of kermesite included throughout the matrix as well!!! This is old museum material and retains an old museum label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
