Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of kermesite from Slovakia!!! This specimen hosts a vug with a rich showing of juxtaposed, dark red needle-like crystals of kermesite in addition to areas of densely intergrown crystals on the opposite side!!! The crystals in the vug are sprayed out and quite handsome upon close inspection!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
