Malachite & Mushistonite pseudomorph after Kesterite Mt Xuebaoding, Pingwu Co., Mianyang Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China 1.54cm x 1.27cm x .7cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of a malachite & mushistonite PSEUDOMORPH of kesterite from China!!! While the large majority of kesterite specimens from this locality have epitaxial coatings of mushistonite, actual replacements of kesterite are quite rare!!! This specimen consists of a complex kesterite crystal that has been completely replaced by malachite and mushistonite!!! The specimen at first appears to be entirely malachite, but close inspection reveals that there is intergrown grains of mushistonite as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
