Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of this rare and colorful species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous, very significant crystals of intensely colored kipushite in association with colorless crystals of hemimorphite!!! The kipushite crystals have complex, lustrous faces and marked clarity!!! This is a killer example of the species indeed!!! This specimen is from the earlier finds of the species in the 1980's and notes on the back of the label indicate it was labelled prior to its official IMA status!!! There is some minor association of an unidentified green mineral in a few areas around the matrix as well!!! This This specimen retains original old labels from Dr. F.P. D'Esopo and Bill Pinch!!! Dr. D'Esopo was a friend and protege of Bill Pinch and, under his tutelage amassed a truly significant species collection of impressive breadth and quality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
