Kleinite with Kenhsuite on Cristobalite McDermitt Mine, Opalite District, Humboldt Co., Nevada 5.4cm x 4.46cm x 3.56cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from Nevada!!! This specimen hosts a rich coverage of complex, intergrown crystals of kleinite in association with minor crusts of bright orange-yellow kenhsuite on a matrix of brecciated cristobalite!!! Upon close inspection the kleinite crystals have sharp, complex, lustrous faces!!! The matrix is comprised of quartz's rare polymorph, cristobalite and one can find numerous significant crystals of cristobalite throughout the specimen!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
