Krennerite with Coloradoite & Native Gold

Bessie G Mine, La Plata Co., Colorado

3.9cm x 1.9cm x 1.84cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of krennerite with coloradoite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of krennerite in association with coloradoite and minor gold in a quartz matrix!!! It was difficult to capture in the pictures, however upon close inspection in person on can see that much of this material is actually crystalline!!! The krennerite crystals are present as compact groups of parallel crystals, in many cases the crystals are radiating or skewed!!! There also appear to be tiny, crudely crystalline examples of coloradoite present as well!!! This is a very rich specimen that is very impressive under close examination with a scope or loupe!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Specimen retains a previous species' dealer label as well!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY September 2nd!!!
