Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely stunning example of krohnkite from Chile!!! This specimen consists of an undamaged example of crystalline krohnkite!!! Although it is difficult to discern in the pics, this specimen is superbly crystallized and, upon close inspection, all of its minute faces are actually razor sharp and lustrous!!! The terminations are complete as well!!! While this specimen is unusually well crystallized for the species, its most impressive feature by far is its extraordinary intense paraiba-like blue color and gemmy clarity!!! The pics don't even come close to capturing just how intense its color and clarity are!!! Gram for gram this is perhaps the finest Krohnkite I have ever seen in terms of color!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and retains an old catalogue number on the bottom as well!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
