Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely exceptional example of this rare and colorful species from Chile!!! This specimen is one of the finest examples of this species that I have seen!!! Usually this species is seen as massive material, with crystals being quite rare!!! What crystals are seen are usually poorly formed and small in size - however this specimen has exceptional size and particularly sharp form!!! This specimen consists of an elongated blade-shaped crystal with numerous parallel growths and a few juxtaposed crystals in association with a small amount of intergrown matrix as well!!! The crystal is actually terminated and has sharply defined, lustrous features all around!!! The crystal has striking blue color and marked clarity!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! The crystal shows broad, sharp, lustrous faces in person!!! Truly an exceptional example of this rare species!!! This specimen came from the collection of Chilean mineral expert Terry Szenics!!!
