Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of this rare species from Chile!!! This specimen hosts of a rich showing of intensely colored blue krohnkite!!! The specimen hosts numerous veins and crystalline vugs of bright blue krohnkite in association with lightly colored matrix!!! The krohnkite has particularly bright and intense blue color with areas of marked gemminess!!! The color is absolutely choice for the species!!! There are numerous areas around the specimen where crystalline features can be seen and there are several vugs that hosts significant showings of crystalline material!!! There is also a small amount of unidentified colorless material closely associated with the krohnkite in one of the vugs as well!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can find some small, sharp, gemmy crystals of krohnkite tucked in some small vugs in addition to other interesting features!!! Simply a fantastic example of this rare species!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
