Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely incredible, old time example of this rare species from Chile!!! This specimen consists of a
sharp pair of krohnkite crystals that exhibit sharp and pronounced twinning!!! The crystals are
remarkably sharp and well formed for the species!!! The crystals have sharp, lustrous faces with marked translucence and rich blue green color!!! The
color is very showy in person and way better than the pics show!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!! The crystals
have much sharper detail than it appears in the pics as well!!! This is an extraordinary example of the species!!! This specimen
is originally from A.E. Foote (circa 1908) and was subsequently acquired by the Harvard University Mineralogical Museum and
Grace Dearborn Collection (1891-1980)!!! This specimen retains a previous label with original Harvard label details (noting A.E. Foote and
dated 1908) affixed!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
