Description/Interesting Notes: A rare and attractive example of kutnohorite with willemite from Sterling Hill!! This specimen hosts a rich pink vein of blocky crystalline kutnohorite with numerous well formed crystals of orange colored willemite intergrown with it and surrounded by a mass of granular willemite and franklinite!!! The kutnohorite has rich pink color along with surprising luster and areas of marked translucence!!! The willemite crystals are well formed and lustrous, and range in size up to 1.6cm!!! This specimen originally came from John Baum and was collected circa 1950!!! The willemite fluoresces an intense yellow-green under SW UV!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
